Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use autosellgh.com, operated by AutoSell Ltd of Accra, Ghana. By listing a vehicle, registering a rental business, creating an account or browsing the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What AutoSell does

AutoSell Ghana is an advertising platform. We publish vehicle listings and introduce interested buyers to sellers. We are not a party to the sale: we do not own the vehicles, we do not inspect or warrant them, and we do not hold the purchase money. Any sale is a contract between the buyer and the seller directly.

2. Listing a vehicle

When you submit a listing you confirm that:

• You own the vehicle, or you have the owner’s permission to advertise it.
• The vehicle is not stolen, and it is not subject to an undisclosed loan, lien or court order.
• Everything you tell us — the mileage, year, condition, accident history and price — is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• The photographs are of the actual vehicle you are selling, and you have the right to use them.
• You are at least 18 years old.

We review every submission before it goes live. We may reject or remove any listing, at our discretion, and we do not have to give a reason — though in practice we will tell you.

3. Publication and social media

Approved listings are published on the website and posted automatically to AutoSell Ghana’s Facebook, Instagram and X accounts, and may appear in a weekly roundup post. By submitting a listing you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your photographs and vehicle details for this purpose, and to promote the marketplace generally.

This promotion is part of the advertising service rather than an optional extra. You may withdraw your listing at any time by contacting us — see our Privacy Policy — and we will delete our own posts, but we cannot recover copies other people have already shared.

4. Packages and payment

Payments are handled by Paystack in Ghana cedis. Promoted placement begins once payment is confirmed and the listing is approved, and continues without expiry while the listing is live.

Refunds

• If we reject your listing before it is published, you receive a full refund.
• If we remove your listing because it breaches these terms, no refund is due.
• Once a paid listing has been published and promoted, the fee is non-refundable — the service has been delivered. Selling the vehicle quickly is a good outcome, not a ground for refund.

5. Things you must not do

• List a vehicle you do not have the right to sell, or post stolen goods.
• Misstate the mileage, year, accident history or condition of a vehicle.
• Use the platform to advertise anything other than vehicles and related services.
• Post content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes someone else’s rights.
• Scrape, copy or bulk-extract listings or contact details from the site, whether manually or by automated means.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying systems.
• Impersonate another person or business.

Breaching this section entitles us to remove your listings and close your account without refund.

6. Buying a vehicle

Listings are supplied by sellers, and we do not independently verify them. Before you buy, you should inspect the vehicle in person, confirm the seller’s identity and ownership documents, and consider an independent mechanical inspection and a DVLA check.

Never pay a deposit for a vehicle you have not seen, and be cautious of anyone who insists on payment before an inspection. If someone asks you to pay AutoSell directly for a vehicle, it is not us — contact us and check.

7. Rental partners

Rental businesses must be approved by us before their vehicles appear. You are responsible for holding the licences, roadworthiness certificates and insurance that Ghanaian law requires for vehicle hire, and for the condition of every vehicle you list. We may suspend or remove a partner account where those obligations are not met.

8. Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has gained access. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Our liability

The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that a listing will result in a sale, that the site will always be available, or that listing information is accurate.

We are not liable for the condition, legality or ownership of any vehicle, for the conduct of any buyer or seller, or for any loss arising from a transaction between users. Where we are found liable despite this, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Ghanaian law.

10. Intellectual property

The AutoSell Ghana name, logo, site design and written content belong to AutoSell Ltd. You keep ownership of the photographs and descriptions you upload, subject to the licence in section 3.

11. Changes and termination

We may update these terms as the service develops; the date at the top shows the last revision, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version. We may suspend or withdraw the service, or close an account that breaches these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
